Features

The super series porthole is characterized by the very resistant construction and essential and modern lines. It is entirely made of polished 316L stainless steel, suitable to withstand the considerable operating pressures imposed by the approvals during the acceptance tests.

Its main elements, 316 L stainless steel and glass, are joined together with structural adhesives that guarantee hydraulic resistance and reliability over time. The gasket is in black EPDM, resistant to saline environment.

The base is connected to the door by CNC-made hinges, it can be equipped with double gas support arms or side blocks that grant 2 opening positions, it can be mounted both horizontally and vertically.

The storm shutter plates are in anodized flat aluminum, in a fixed or removable version.

The glass is tempered and stratified, with an extra clear neutral colour, which thickness is suitable for the various types of approval.

It is available in a fixed and openable version.

In the “fixed” version, it can also be used with external glass hull, in this case there is a pneumatic connection system to fill the space (between portholes, collar and hull glass) with inert gas, in the frame of the porthole.

It is available in standard sizes, round, oval and rectangular, as shown in the grid.

It can also be made with different sizes, based on the customer’s request.

It can be equipped with alarm switch and mosquito net.

To complete the supply, the collars can be made with EPDM gasket and screws with self-centering nuts, made for each depth dimension and for the different types of installation, built in stainless steel, carbon steel Ah 36 or in L.L.

Its use is foreseen for boats in class (over 24 m), for pleasure or commercial; in this case it is equipped with a not easy opening system.

It can be certified by the primary classification registers.
